I’ve been blogging about higher ed photography for quite some time. It’s just something I have to do nowadays. While looking through my Twitter feed yesterday I came across a piece by Leah Peters for C. Grant and Company that cleared up a few notions I had not tied together: social media, loyalty and content sharing.
Early on I assumed that I would gain a following by blogging. Fortunately my expectations were not high. I assumed it would be helpful for SEO, which it is, but as social media has matured the ability to broadcast that message has gotten stronger. The challenge for me and I am sure others is and will be in the future, finding a way to blog more and blog better.
